Why I had to write Soul Leader

Since writing Soul Trader 10 years ago, 80% of my time has been spent in leadership coaching. I have coached, trained, run talks, events and leadership programmes for thousands of staff in organisations such as the NHS - including 2-award-winning NHS programmes.

I am very familiar with the challenges faced by aspiring, emerging and established managers, supervisors and executives. Here are just a few of them:

Many of the people I work with are technically skilled but new to leadership. Some receive no or very limited leadership development or the skills to coach, motivate and develop others. Others studied the theory but lack real tools and knowhow.

This is what I teach and coach every week, and I have developed a huge suite of skills, tools, techniques gained over my long career as a coach. Soul Leader brings readers these tools and techniques – based on my proven results.

Crucially Soul Leader is holistic, heart-centred and based on my my unique ‘become who you are’ philosophy of self-discovery, heart, purpose, and life balance. It has helped hundreds of these leaders gain confidence, promotion, develop themselves, their teams and their organisations and achieve greater fulfilment and life balance.

My audience includes a large percentages or women, those from Black, Asian & Ethnic Minorities and those who are turned off by old ‘left brain’ materials and who respond to a more holistic, motivating, yin-yang, inspired approach that I provide in Soul Leader.
